Hours of Operation and Holiday Schedule

Gopher State One Call is available for emergency calls 24 hours a day, seven day a week.  Gopher State One Call observes a summer/winter schedule for all routine calls.  Between April 1st and October 31st, the center observes summer hours of operation from 6am to 6pm.  From November 1st through March 31st, normal operating hours are 7am to 5pm.  Calls received outside of those hours, on weekends, and on holidays are accepted for emergencies only.

We observe the following holidays:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Veteran’s Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Friday after Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Eve Day
• Christmas Day

Gopher State One Call has adopted a “Holiday Substitution Policy” so that excavators and operators are better aware, in advance, of what days GSOC will observe as holidays. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, GSOC will observe the Friday before as the holiday; if it falls on a Sunday, GSOC will observe the Monday after as the holiday.
