811 Run MN blogIMGTo celebrate 811 Day, the 811 Run is returning to Minnesota! The event promotes the “Call or Click Before You Dig” message, and all proceeds go to Twin Cities Firefighters Operation Warm, an organization that provides winter coats to children in need. Gopher State One Call (GSOC) is a proud sponsor of this family-friendly event that will feature a free kid’s “fun run”, an awards ceremony, a prize giveaway, and a safety fair following the 5K run. Come visit the GSOC booth to learn more about the damage prevention message and the important steps that you should take to excavate safely.

When: August 12th, 2017
5K Start- 8:11 am
The kid’s “fun run” will follow the 5K run

Where: Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, MN
Parking is available in the Lake Calhoun Executive Center

Events may be delayed, shortened or in rare circumstances cancelled, due to inclement weather. This includes lightning, wind, heat, snow, or the threat of imminent severe weather that may harm or injure participants, staff, set up crew and bystanders. Event time frame includes setup, race and teardown. All possible attempts will be made to contact those involved by email, website and social media. No refunds or transfers allowed.
